Hydef the Label was born out of a stylist's hungry quest for all things intrinsically Malaysian. After years of styling and curating looks for others, editor and stylist Haida Yusof aimed to experiment on some pieces that she would wear herself and also see more people embrace the unique and untapped potential of the Nusantara heritage in a modernized, global setting. With emphasis given to locally produced fabrics and personal artistic expression; Hydef the Label is a celebration of faults, imperfections and trial and errors in giving a breath of fresh air to the cultural background of Malaysia.
